SIA Congress 2027
Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to all tickets purchased for the SIA Congress 2027 from the Society of Integrative Aesthetics. Please read them before you book.
1. About these terms
These terms and conditions govern the purchase of tickets for the SIA Congress 2027 (the "Congress"), organised by the Society of Integrative Aesthetics ("SIA", "we", "us"). By completing a purchase you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
2. Tickets
We offer two ticket types: Event Only, and Event Plus SIA Membership. Each ticket admits one named delegate. The ticket type you select at checkout determines what is included, as described on the ticket page at the time of purchase.
A booking is confirmed only once payment has been received in full and you have received a confirmation email. Please check your junk folder if you do not see it.
3. Pricing and early bird offer
Prices are shown at checkout. Early bird pricing is applied automatically at checkout until 31 December 2026. After that date, standard pricing applies. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before a booking is confirmed.
4. Payment
Payment is taken in full at the time of booking through our online checkout. You are responsible for ensuring the details you provide, including your name and email address, are accurate.
5. Membership ticket
If you purchase the Event Plus SIA Membership ticket, your SIA membership is subject to the Society's membership terms and eligibility requirements in force at the time.
6. Refunds
Refund requests will be considered on an individual basis and are granted at SIA's discretion, except where we are required to provide a refund by law.
If you purchased an Event Plus SIA Membership ticket, any refund agreed in relation to your cancellation will apply only to the Congress ticket element of your purchase. The SIA membership element is non-refundable and your membership will remain active in accordance with SIA's membership terms.
If we cancel the Congress and do not offer a replacement or rescheduled date, we will refund the Congress ticket price paid. If you purchased an Event Plus SIA Membership ticket, the membership element will not be refunded and your SIA membership will remain active.
We are not responsible for other costs you may have incurred in connection with attending the Congress, such as travel or accommodation.
If the Congress is postponed or rescheduled, your Congress ticket will remain valid for the new date. We will contact you with details of the new arrangements and any options available to you.
Any refund approved by SIA will normally be made to the original payment method.
7. Cancellation by the delegate
If you are unable to attend the Congress, please let us know as soon as possible.
If you cancel your booking, you may request a refund. All refund requests will be considered on an individual basis and any refund will be granted at SIA's discretion. Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund.
If you purchased an Event Plus SIA Membership ticket, any refund approved by SIA will apply only to the Congress ticket element of your purchase. The membership element is non-refundable and your SIA membership will remain active.
If you do not attend the Congress without notifying us, you will not normally be entitled to a refund.
Alternatively, you may transfer your Congress ticket to another eligible delegate in accordance with section 8 below.
Nothing in these terms affects any rights you may have under applicable law.
8. Transfer of tickets
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your Congress ticket to another person, provided they meet any eligibility requirements that apply to the ticket.
To request a transfer or change the name on a ticket, please contact us through the contact page no later than 5 working days before the Congress. We may not be able to accept transfer or name change requests received after this deadline.
Tickets may not be resold for commercial gain or for more than the original purchase price.
If you purchased an Event Plus SIA Membership ticket, only the Congress ticket element may be transferred. Your SIA membership is personal to you and cannot be transferred to another person.
9. Changes to the programme or event
We will make every reasonable effort to deliver the Congress as advertised. However, the programme, speakers, timings and venue may change for reasons outside our control. We will tell ticket holders about any material change as soon as reasonably possible. If we have to cancel the Congress, we will contact ticket holders about the options available.
10. Delegate conduct
We expect all delegates, speakers and partners to behave respectfully and professionally. We may refuse entry to, or remove, anyone whose behaviour we consider disruptive or unsafe.
11. Personal data
We collect and use your personal data to process your booking and to run the Congress. We handle it in line with applicable data protection law. If you have a question about how your data is used, please contact us through the contact page.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, SIA is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for costs you incur such as travel and accommodation, arising from changes to or cancellation of the Congress.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you book is the version that applies to your ticket.
